Since 2024, we have been active in the aviation industry through our business unit Melchers Aviation Technical Services (MATS).
For MROs, OEMs, and airlines, our aerospace solutions enhance every aspect of aircraft maintenance and repair. Engineered for excellence, our products not only streamline maintenance processes but also contribute to an exceptional passenger experience. In China, Melchers additionally operates a calibration laboratory, ensuring the annual calibration of high‑precision equipment for one of our industry partners.
Today, MATS is an integral part of the regional Melchers Aviation Network, managed by our office in Thailand. This network strengthens our aviation footprint across Singapore, China, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
AIRCRAFT CARPETS
ANKER is a world-renowned enterprise with German roots, specializing in the production of high-end woven carpets. Thanks to collaborations with internationally renowned architects and interior designers, ANKER carpets can be found around the world in countless office buildings, hotels, and numerous public buildings. Anker aviation collections fly with numerous renowned airlines worldwide. Being certified by Airbus, Boeing, COMAC, and Embraer, ANKER carpets can be used for all the aircraft models in both line fit installations and the aftermarket.
COMPOSITE REPAIRS
GMI AERO, based in Paris, is recognized worldwide in technology for advanced composite structural repairs. GMI offers manufacturers, airlines and MROs a complete range of control equipment and instrumentation, engineering solutions, training and field assistance services.
GMI developed and continuously upgrades a series of portable composite repair equipment for innovative solutions for the NDT, surface preparation and curing of bonded composite repairs, as well as for the repair of emergency aircraft slides.
GMI is cooperating worldwide with major aeronautical stakeholders in Europe, the USA, Canada, and Asia.
Together with Melchers, GMI Aero operates a calibration laboratory in Shanghai, P.R. China. The calibration laboratory facilitates the required annual calibration operation of the high-precision devices ANITA Hot Bonders and Thermography Inspection Controllers.

AIRLINE INTERIOR
Innovint Aircraft Interior has been developing and manufacturing cabin interiors and equipment since 1977. Optimal design, new materials, and light-weight construction fulfill the criteria of customized cabin interiors for airlines and luxurious private aircrafts.
Own product developments are baby bassinets, on-board wheelchairs for disabled persons or a child restraint system for secure travel. For the passenger compartment Innovint designs and manufactures cabin standards such as partitions, bulkheads, coat rooms, doghouses, and cabinets, holders and racks, picture frames and other ancillary equipment as well as emergency medical equipment required within the aircraft.
Innovint holds design (21J), production (21G), and maintenance (145) EASA approvals from the EASA and is certified according to EN 9100.
CARPET CLEANING SOLUTIONS
SHOU Solution, headquartered in the Netherlands, offers effective, sustainable and innovative cabin cleaning solutions for aircraft cabin carpets and NTF (non-textile flooring). SHOU’s cleaning solutions at least double the expected carpet lifespan, resulting in considerable savings in carpet replacement costs, while improving the passenger experience. SHOU is supported by major carpet manufacturers and approved in accordance to the requirements of Airbus and Boeing.
